Inspection Function

The Inspect function can be used to get more information about a tag. The function is made available by clicking the Inspect symbol in the right panel or by holding the alt key on the keyboard.

The mouse pointer will get a question mark next to it to indicate that you are in Inspect mode.

Click on an object in the dashboard to get a dialog box with tag information.

The dialog box provides information about:

• Data source
• Tag name
• Status
• Current value
• Tag description
• Date and Time

Tag List

Tags can be added to a Tag list in the right panel. To add a tag to the list, click on the plus symbol in the dialog box with tag information. Tags can also be added to the Tag list by a keyboard shortcut. Holding the ctrl button on the keyboard and clicking on an object, automatically adds the tags in that object to the Tag list.

A red circle next the tag list symbol in the right panel indicates that tags have been added to the Tag list. The number shows how many tags there are in the list.

To show the Tag list, expand the panel by clicking the expand symbol in the top of the panel.

The tags in the list can be opened in a Trend by clicking the Open in Trend symbol in the bottom of the panel.

Tags can be removed from the Tag list by clicking the delete symbol next to a tag in the list.
