Client Requirements

This document outlines the client’s system requirements for the MOPS 4.0 platforms, ensuring compatibility, performance, and security across various client environments.

Overview

The MOPS 4.0 system includes:

  • A browser-based client application for web access.
  • An Excel Add-in supporting both desktop and web-based Excel versions.
  • Support for desktop and mobile platforms to provide a seamless user experience.

MOPS Web (Browser-Based Client)

The MOPS Web client runs in modern browsers and supports mobile platforms.

Supported Browsers

  • Google Chrome: Latest stable version and two previous major versions.
  • Microsoft Edge: Latest stable version and two previous major versions.

Supported Platforms

  • Mobile OS: iOS 18+, Android 15+.

Mobile Browsers

  • Chrome for Android: Latest stable version.
  • Edge for Android: Latest stable version.
  • Chrome for iOS: Latest stable version.
  • Edge for iOS: Latest stable version.

MOPS Excel Add-in

The Excel Add-in is compatible with various Excel versions for data integration and analysis.

Desktop Excel

  • Microsoft Excel for Microsoft 365 E Series and F3 plans only (latest update channel).

Note: The Excel Add-in has been tested on Microsoft® Excel® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2510 Build 16.0.19328.20244) 64-bit. Users should install this version or use a later version for optimal compatibility.

Note: The Excel Add-in is currently not compatible with macOS.

Web Excel

  • Excel for the Web (Microsoft 365 E Series and F3 only).

Note: MOPS Excel Add-in is not verified on the mobile application.

Authentication Requirements

Authentication is handled via secure protocols to protect user access.

  • Primary Protocol: OpenID Connect (OIDC).
  • Supported Providers: Supported OIDC-compliant identity providers are:
    • Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD).
    • Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS).
    • Keycloak.
    • OneGate.
  • Token Validation: Complies with JWT standards.
  • Security Note: HTTPS is mandatory for all authentication endpoints.
