System Settings

The system menu is accessed through the cog wheel icon and provides access to system configuration. Most of the options in the system menu are only available to users with administrative privileges.

Functions available in the system menu include:

  • General Settings: This option allows you to configure general settings for the MOPS 4.0 system, such as which trend display to use and what theme to use as default. General settings controls user profile settings and from here you can also apply changes to user profiles.
  • Directory Settings: This option allows you to configure settings related to the directory, such as settings for directory items and who should have what permissions.
  • Security: This option allows you to configure security settings for the MOPS 4.0 system, such as user accounts, roles and how applications can authenticate themselves to the system.
  • Upgrade Docs: This option runs upgrade procedures on display and dashboard documents. MOPS 4.0 runs a dynamic in-memory, update of displays and dashboards when they are opened, but this option allows you to run the upgrade procedures on all documents in the system. It may also be that the dynamic on-load update, in the future, will limit the number of back-versions that will be supported.
  • About: This option shows information about the MOPS 4.0 system, such as the version number and other details.
  • Help Index: This option opens the help system, which provides documentation and information about the MOPS 4.0 system. Opens the help system in a new browser tab, on the start page.
